THE Fisherman’s Hollow mosaic mural will be returned to the site by April, a residents group heard last month.

At the Two Rocks Yanchep Residents Association (TRYRA) meeting on February 27, Wanneroo councillor Nat Sangalli said the mural was being restored and would be reinstalled next month.

TRYRA members discussed whether the previous location – the toilet block – was suitable for the mural or whether other sites could be considered.

President Peter Wimsett suggested it could go on the new Yanchep Surf Life Saving Club building.

The Wanneroo council is due to consider awarding a contract to resume work on the building at this month’s council meeting.

The March 7 council report recommends the City accept a tender submission from Bistel Construction to finish the building for almost $3.39 million.
