STRANGE creatures have moved into undeveloped dunes in Alkimos recently.

Local residents noticed the first goat standing on the hill top early this month, with a second recently popping up on a nearby dune.

The eerie sculptures with glowing eyes watch over the coastal area of Shorehaven estate, near the Alkimos wreck, which has its own haunting history.

They are among a series of animal sightings in the suburb to cause a stir, with living goats also seen walking the streets in the past.

Emus, kangaroos, reptiles and foxes have been spotted around the fringes of urban development as well.
