WITH Olympic fever taking over the world, a northern suburbs aged care facility joined in the fun.

Bethanie Beachside in Yanchep hosted Beth-a-lympics on August 4 with fellow residents from Kingsley, Innaloo and Hamilton Hill making the trip north.

With more than 40 residents taking part, activities included hockey, pass ball, skittles and beanbag toss.

“The competitive nature of the residents certainly came out, making a close scoreboard throughout the day,” Bethanie Beachside site manager Louisa Chadwick said.

“All had a great day and the Beachside facility was filled with cheering and laughter from both residents and staff.”
