The Yanchep Two Rocks Community Recreation Association will host the markets at Charnwood Park on February 13.

Volunteer organisers Brooke Trimmer and Dorothy Dean said a live music zone with acoustic sounds would set the vibe for the market, while a kids’ zone named Wild Child would keep children amused.

Mrs Trimmer said there would be a second-hand section called Funky Junk Lane with a variety of bric-a-brac that would give the market that little bit extra.

“Fresh flowers will also be on offer while a wide variety of food vans will offer up a smorgasbord of delicious foods,” she said.

Mrs Dean said boutique stalls would offer a range of hand-made items from local creative businesses that included art, vintage wares, fashion and hand-crafted items.

“We wanted to create a vibrant and engaging market that had something for everyone, including the kids,” she said. “We have three bouncy castles planned, face painting, kid’s crafts and activities – all for free.

“We hope to make these markets a regular event in Two Rocks, with our aim being to shine a bright light on the beauty of our seaside town while showcasing local talent.”

The market will be at Charnwood Park on Lisford Avenue, Two Rocks, from 4pm to 8pm.
