Mrs Blackie along with six other parents from the special kids integrated parent support (SKIPS) group that runs out of The Spiers Centre in Heathridge, will be taking part in the Garage Sale Trail on Saturday, October 26.

The group will be selling items, ranging from toys to new leather lounges.

‘This is the first time we’ve taken part in the Garage Sale Trail,’ Mrs Blackie said.

‘A few of us are in the process of building new houses, so we thought it would be a good opportunity to sell some of our old stuff.’

Community organisations, schools, businesses and groups are encouraged to gather their unwanted items and be a part of the trail, now into its third year.

Money raised can be donated to each group’s charity of choice.

The SKIPS garage sale will be taking place at 10 Petre Grove, Clarkson.
