BUTLER Community Centre will have a festive atmosphere this Saturday as local small businesses sell homemade gifts.
Linsey’s Community Events will hold its first Christmas Community Market at the centre from noon to 5pm on December 19.
“It is being held as a fundraiser, with all money raised from the raffle being used to buy gifts for those children spending the festive period at Joondalup hospital,” organiser Linsey Hale said.
“This is something that I did on a personal level last year and now I have my business, I would like to make it an annual event.
“We have Santa lined up, visits from Anna and Elsa, plus a fantastic line-up of musical talent from local young artists and activities to keep the little ones busy.”
Mrs Hale said there would be about 40 stalls at the market offering plenty of gift ideas.
“Come along and finalise your Christmas shopping all under one roof whilst supporting your local small businesses and a great cause at the same time,” she said.
