Golfers flock to fundraiser event

Yanchep RSL president Rolly Sweet said 87 people participated in the event at the golf course in Yanchep National Park on October 18.

He said some of the players travelled from as far north as Lancelin, while others came from Mandurah and Rockingham to play in the 11th annual event.

Mr Sweet said it had been a successful day on the fairways, with fair weather conditions, and the event had been well-supported by the Department of Parks and Wildlife, Yanchep Inn and other local businesses who donated cash or raffle items.
