Yates-Rothwell will base herself at Capricorn Community House for 12 days between June 16 and 29 for a course to help others improve their writing skills.

The TRYCAN course will encourage participants to explore creativity, talk with like-minded people and find time to write.

Discussion themes will include how to write short stories, novels, plays and non-fiction; genres; how to get started and how to get published.

Participants should bring pens, paper or laptops and lunch to the sessions, which run from 11am to 5pm daily except Thursdays.

The course will cost $60 and places can be booked before June 16 by calling Jo on 9561 2031.
