RETIREES will hold their annual fete at RAAFA Merriwa Estate on Sunday, November 16.
Residents of the estate on Hughie Edwards Drive will have stalls selling a variety of goods, from sports equipment and household goods to furniture.
Residents’ committee president Joyce Johnson said people could also browse their bric-a-brac stall for more unusual or art deco items.
‘This year promises to be as action packed as previous years with lots of bargains to tempt customers,’ she said.
‘You can also browse for bedding, children’s clothing and toys, Christmas decorations, crockery, crystal and glass among the many treasures on offer.’
Mrs Johnson said they would be selling tea and cake and have a sausage sizzle for hungry shoppers, as well as a cake stall with baked goods people could take home.
She said there would be an auction from 10am and various activities to amuse children.
The fete will run from 8am to 2pm at RAAFA Merriwa Estate, 19 Hughie Edwards Drive.
