Great base for living

Yanchep Golf Estate developer Peet held the July 12 event with Vesbar Mobile Pizza Bar, where people topped bases with various ingredients and cooked them in a wood-fired oven.

Siblings Kaitlin (10) and Che (8) Zietsman took the opportunity to perfect their pizza making skills they hoped to take home to their own kitchen

‘We made ham and cheese pizzas today; my favourite,’ Kaitlin said.

‘I help mum cook at home ” mainly soups and pasta or cupcakes if it’s someone’s birthday ” and now I can start making pizza.’

Richard and Lynne Pyke are preparing to build a new family home in Yanchep Golf Estate and brought daughters Ruby (9) and Abigail (12) along to make pizza and meet other residents.

‘Titles have just come in on our block, so we’ll start building soon,’ Mr Pyke said.

‘Being a very outdoorsy family, we were already looking forward to living near the national park and the beach, but now we’ve met some of our future neighbours we have something extra to look forward to.’

Since land sales began in 2012, about 250 families have moved into the estate, with about 1250 more expected.
