The Alkimos students were taught about gardening and sustainability as they planted native seedlings on July 24.

Clarkson store manager Peter Kingwell said the team enjoyed getting out to different schools every year to plant trees with the students.

Planet Ark's National Tree Day manager Debbie Agnew said Schools Tree Day was the largest nature care event in Australian schools.
