Guns stolen in burglary

Police spokesman Samuel Dinnison said three men wearing balaclavas entered a farmhouse about 10pm by smashing through the front door, struck a man inside to his face with an unknown weapon and tied him up.

He said they assaulted the man, forcing him to hand over keys to his firearms cabinet and left with two firearms similar to the two pictured above.

‘The victim was able to cut himself free and made his way to the Brand Highway where he flagged down a passing truck,’ he said.

‘The victim was taken to Joondalup Health Campus and later transferred to Royal Perth Hospital due to the serious nature of his injuries.’
