Hardware store burglary in Butler

Lucy JarvisNorth Coast Times

POLICE are investigating CCTV footage related to a burglary at a Butler hardware store.

Clarkson Sergeant Darren Lumb said a fire extinguisher was stolen during the burglary at Masters on Marmion Avenue on October 21.

Sgt Lumb said residents reported alarms going off at 2.24am, and two young, fair-skinned people, one in a blue hoodie and the other in a grey one were seen running from the area.

“They left through a rear fire exit – one of the offenders was seen carrying a fire extinguisher,” he said.
