PLANS for a church in Merriwa are available for public comment until September 2.
The City of Wanneroo has invited submissions on the proposed Merriwa campus of Whitfords Church and a childcare centre on the corner of Connolly Drive and Jenolan Way.
According to the City’s website, the church would cover about 970sqm and accommodate up to 450 people.
The adjacent 904sqm childcare centre would hold up to 100 children and 18 staff, and there would be 218 parking spaces, plus two disabled parking bays.

The site is currently vacant land that backs on to the RAAFA Cambrai Village.
