ABOUT 60 people attended a morning tea celebrating racing fashion in Two Rocks last month.

The Yanchep Two Rocks Community Association (YTRRA) organised the fashionista high tea on October 21, where volunteers modelled the Red Cross Shop’s best spring fashions.

The Yanchep and Districts Country Women’s Association served up tasty treats throughout the event, for which Two Rocks Yanchep Culture and Arts Network members created fascinators.

Organiser Pam Williamson said many local residents contributed to the community event, with hairdresser Hazel Murray volunteering to do 1960s hairdos and a beautician Paige Watson volunteering to do the models’ make-up.

Mrs Williamson said Ronny Ray provided the music on the day.

“Everybody had fun; everybody thoroughly enjoyed it,” she said.

YTRRA is also planning its annual Carols in the Park, which will be held in December.
