Honeymoon over for Mindarie couple who returned to find beloved bengal Rafiki missing

A MINDARIE couple have appealed for help to find their cat, Rafiki, who went missing while they were on their honeymoon.

Dave and Helen Mansell returned from their honeymoon on January 13 to learn he had gone missing from their Lena Pass home in their absence.

“Whilst being picked up from the airport we were informed by our house sitter that our gorgeous bengal boy had gone missing on Saturday, January 7,” Mrs Mansell said.

“We are desperate to get our cat back and devastated to return from our wedding and honeymoon to find he is missing.

“He is an indoor cat apart from the garden under supervision and I am getting very concerned for his welfare.

“He is rather timid, as he was rescued.

“He does have an orange City of Wanneroo tag and a green pet registry tag and his name disc on his collar, which is black with diamantes.

“He is a bengal cat and his markings are distinctive; he also likes to climb.”
