Senior Constable Graham Webster said a group of friends were leaving a bar near Ludlow Lane in Butler about 11.10pm on Thursday, May 2, when two males outside the bar wolf-whistled at a woman in their group.

‘The victim, a man who was walking with the woman at the time, cheekily turned and said thanks,’ Constable Webster said.

‘The attempt at humour was lost on the two males who ran up to the victim and had a verbal altercation with him then punched him once each.’

Police have released CCTV images of two males, with one described as having olive skin, short dark hair and a medium to heavy build, being about 183cm tall and aged about 25.
