LANDOWNERS are moving towards developing a Jindalee estate months after installing concrete posts for the ‘Jindee’ signage.
Estate Development Company installed the large lettering on Marmion Avenue this month for the estate that was expected to break away from historic land-clearing practices.
It has taken about 14 years to get the Jindee estate off the ground, with planning approval granted in mid-2014 for the undulating, vegetation-filled coastal estate.
The 112ha estate located west of Marmion Avenue is expected to yield about 1000 residential lots and 1300 dwellings.
It will have a “Jindee code” to guide development, including addressing urban standard, thoroughfare, landscaping and architectural standards.
