Jindalee lights up for Xmas

Eden Beach developer Satterley Property Group planned the December 4 event to flick the switch on more than 3000 Christmas lights.

There was live entertainment, food trucks, games and activities, appearances from Elsa from Frozen as well as Santa Clause who arrived in a convertible supplied by West Coast BMW, escorted by the Butler Jindalee local policing team.

There was live music and Facebook competition winner Keith McNulty switched on the lights.

“The event had a great family vibe; families and children were laughing and playing everywhere, the Christmas spirit was alive,” community development co-ordinator Lyndsey Stoney said.

“The weather held off for us, and the impending storm made for a phenomenal sunset.”
