Joondalup detectives call for information about Butler robbery on February 11

JOONDALUP Detectives are appealing for information from the public about a robbery in Butler last month.

Senior Constable Des Cooke said a blue Ford Falcon was involved in a traffic crash on Butler Boulevard near to the entrance of Butler train station between 3pm-3.40pm on Saturday, February 11.

“Shortly after the accident, the driver of the vehicle was assaulted by a group of males who were walking past,” he said.

“During the assault, a wallet and personal items belonging to the driver were stolen from the vehicle.”

Constable Cooke described one of the men as light-skinned, aged between 18 and 22, about 170cm tall, wearing dark clothing and a black baseball cap.
