About 300 people attended the first event, browsing more than 40 stalls offering food and drinks, small goods, variety and gift stalls.

“It is wonderful to have Kanga Markets come to Allara estate,” community development officer Katie Dixon said.

“The community really benefit from having access to a variety of stalls each month and it is a great way for families to get out and about and use the great local amenities.”

The first market coincided with turning on the waterplay park for summer, which will run between 8am and 6pm until April.
