THE annual Lancelin Colour Blast returns to the coastal tourist town for a third time this March.
Organisers expect the March 3 event, run by the Lancelin District Community Association, to attract more than 1100 people doing the 1km run, walk or crawl after the 2016 and 2017 events sold out.
Registrations start at 10am before the 11am event start on the beach in front of the Endeavour Tavern.
Participants will head north to the point, passing through various colour stations where they’ll be doused in non-toxic colour powder and a foam station.
Once the field has returned to the start line, everyone will receive a handful of colour powder to launch skyward on cue in a huge colour explosion.
