Lions help Cameron

The computer was donated to Cameron after his mother Tracy asked how to acquire one and Lions Club member Barry Middleton suggested the computer refurbishment scheme run by the City of Perth Lions Club.

People donate old computers to that Lions branch and its members refurbish them, package them and usually send them to Third World countries, helping schools there gain recognition to hold exams.

Cameron’s parents said he would use it for general internet searches and school activities.

The Alkimos Butler sub-branch is based at the Quinns Rocks Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade in Hidden Valley Retreat in Clarkson. It holds meetings on the second and fourth Wednesdays from 6:30pm.
