Little hands beautify Clarkson Primary School

Lucy JarvisNorth Coast Times

STUDENTS, parents and teachers from Clarkson Primary School dug in to planting activities on National School Tree Day last month.

Parent volunteer Tammy King said the July 29 event was an opportunity for students to plant and care for seedlings as they grow in a hands-on experience that also beautified the school grounds.

“Students planted 127 native trees, shrubs and groundcovers across the school grounds,” she said.
