A 20-YEAR-old man charged with the murder of another man found dead outside a Clarkson home has been remanded in custody.

It is alleged Connor Stephen Milton stabbed 34-year-old Craig Wilson during a fight at a home on Willoughby Retreat about 5pm on December 27.

Mr Wilson was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.

It is believed Mr Milton’s father was a friend of Mr Wilson and the men had been drinking at the home before the alleged fight.

Mr Milton appeared in Joondalup Magistrates Court on December 28 where he was remanded to Hakea Prison.

He was then due to appear via video link this morning at Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court.

Instead, Registrar Natalie Whitby adjourned the matter to February 6 for mention only.

Mr Milton will be remanded in custody until then.
