Man charged for throwing punches at police officer in Butler

A MAN has been charged after he allegedly threw punches at a police officer in Butler last month.

Officers patrolling the area considered the 43-year-old man to be acting suspiciously while sitting in a car late on July 28.

Police allege he attempted to leave the area and struggled violently when officers tried to stop him.
