POLICE have charged a man with raping a woman in Kununnura.
The alleged incident occurred on Tuesday July 16, when police say the man grabbed the woman, who was walking along Mistletoe Avenue, between 5am and 5.45am.
Police say he dragged the woman into the backyard of a nearby home where he sexually assaulted her.
The 24-year-old man from the Wyndham area has been charged with five counts of aggravated sexual penetration without consent, attempted sexual penetration without consent and deprivation of liberty.

He is due to appear before the Kununurra Magistrates Court today, 23 July 2019.
