POLICE are investigating a fatal crash that occurred yesterday evening in Seabird, about halfway between Yanchep and Lancelin, between two cars and a van.
Major crash officers say a silver Holden Commodore sedan collided with a white Toyota Commuter Omnibus and a silver Subaru Forrester, travelling along Indian Ocean Drive at around 6.20pm.
Both the Holden and Subaru caught fire as a result of the crash, and the male driver of the Holden died at the scene.
The driver of the Subaru, a 43-year-old man, received serious injuries and was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.

Police are appealing for information on the crash and to anyone who saw any of the vehicles prior to the incident.
