On the approach to the roundabout at Capricorn Esplanade it appears the vehicle lost control, causing the motor vehicle to roll.

The car came to a stop against a light pole.

A passenger in the vehicle, a 25-year-old man, died at the scene.

Two other male occupants of the vehicle are being treated for minor injuries in hospital.

The accident came just a week after people voiced concerns about the roundabout at the Two Rocks Yanchep Residents’ Association meeting.

At the meeting it was said the City of Wanneroo was looking “at improving signage to warn southbound motorists of the bends ahead”.

Residents said there had been at least two crashes as well as several vehicles going over rather than around the roundabout.

Anyone with information regarding this crash, or who saw the Magna prior to the crash, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
