Man faces robbery charges

Police Media acting Senior Sergeant Naomi Smith said Mirrabooka detectives had charged three men over a series of recent armed robberies.

‘It is alleged the men were in a stolen Holden Commodore which officers attempted to intercept in Innaloo on December 19.

‘Officers pursued the stolen vehicle with the assistance of Police Airwing in Karrinyup and North Beach where it eventually crashed on West Coast Highway in Trigg.

‘The men fled on foot but were apprehended a short time later in Karrinyup bushland.’

Sgt Smith said detectives charged the Clarkson man with aggravated armed robbery, aggravated burglary, failing to stop and dangerous driving.

She said a Bayswater man (30) and a Bentley man (23) were also charged with stealing a motor vehicle.
