Marina works set to ramp up

Yanchep Sun City released a statement this week about ongoing minor works around the boat ramp, with the next stage to start on October 13.

Having completed work in the beach access area in September, the company said it would now focus on the slope surface of the boat ramp and access improvement to the breakwater.

‘The ramp will be available for use throughout the revitalisation project,’ the statement said.

‘However, public vehicles accessing the sea via the boat ramp will be limited to a single lane due to road pavement work for three weeks from Monday.’

All the ‘cosmetic’ work, which follows the prolonged closure last summer, is expected to finish in late November.
