CONCEPT plans for the park beside Mary Lindsay Homestead went out for public consultation last week.

The City of Wanneroo opened a community survey on September 9 for the heritage-listed building in Yanchep.

The concept plans include play and picnic areas and a carpark off Capricorn Esplanade, with $900,000 allocated to redevelop the area in 2016.

“The building works have been brought forward and will happen in conjunction with the park redevelopment,” the City’s website said.

“Hocking Heritage Studio have been contracted to develop the plans for the building, with works anticipated for mid-2016.”

Staff will be on site on October 1 from 4pm to 5.30pm to answer questions, and the online survey will close on October 7. For more information, visit www.wanneroo.wa.gov.au.
