Staff WriterNorth Coast Times

RSPCA WA is calling for information about a young cat found with a severed leg in Merriwa earlier today.

A spokesman said an inspector attended at house in Merriwa, where the cat was found with a severed left front leg, hiding under a car and called a tow truck to help.

“Cat was recovered from under the vehicle and rushed to RSPCA WA Animal Care Centre in Malaga where it is currently undergoing treatment, including amputation of what remains of the severed leg,” he said.
