SENIORS Week is being marked by ‘Mind Fit’ information sessions in Clarkson and Wanneroo this week.

Home Care Assistance partnered with the City of Wanneroo library service to host one of the interactive activity sessions at Clarkson Library this morning, with another planned at Wanneroo Library on Wednesday.

The free sessions cover the latest research and activities to boost brain health.

“The Mind Fit message is easy to understand,” Home Care Assistance owner Kate Hansford said.

“It can be adapted for use in daily routines to enhance the participant’s quality of life.”

Home Care Assistance educates its caregivers and the seniors they serve on maintaining a healthy mind, body and spirit with age.

The November 1 session will run from 2-3pm at Wanneroo Library.
