THE annual Mindarie Festival returns to the marina this November with markets, street food and carnival rides for children.

Marina Mindarie operations manager David Bornmann said the location was ideal to host community events such as the festival

“We provide an array of food, beverage, markets and other interesting entertainment for everyone to enjoy, along with a dedicated kids’ zone,” he said.

The festival, supported by the City of Wanneroo, on Sunday, November 19 will include artisan market stalls on the boardwalk, street food stalls and live cooking stations from noon-5pm.

The free kids’ zone will run from noon-4pm with jumping castles, an obstacle course, Mermaid Stardust, a balloon twister and bubble zone, plus there will be children’s carnival rides.

There will be bands performing on two stages throughout the day, including headline act Darren Reid and the Soul City Groove, and street performers and buskers on site.

Entertainment will also showcase local community groups, schools and entertainers, and an exhibition of artwork by local school students at The Pavilion.
