MINDARIE Marina will host its 11th annual food, beer and wine festival, a “Toast to the Coast” this month.
The community event on Saturday, April 22 will feature food stalls as well as beer, cider and wine stalls with tastings.
There will also be market stalls selling art, homewares, candles and jewellery, plus a free kids zone with jumping castles, temporary airbrush tattoos, a balloon twister, the big dig, giant games and bubble zone.
Other attractions will be children’s carnival rides and appearances by Princess Elsa and Spider-man at noon, plus roving street performers on the boardwalk throughout the day.
Clayton Bolger and Slim Jim and the Phatts will perform at The Boat, while the Howie Morgan Trio will play at the Indian Ocean Brewery.
Operations director David Bornmann said the marina was a great place to visit throughout the year.
“The festivals that we have established make it even more fun to bring your friends and family down to enjoy, with market stalls, food, drinks, live music and theming as well as amazing kids entertainment,” he said.
“Toast to the Coast is the last major festival before winter.”
