TWO Mindarie Senior College teachers recently received an award recognising global citizenship education.
Elise Gaglio and Tracy Smith received the World Teachers’ Day secondary teachers’ award during the United Nations Day gala evening at Government House in late October.
UN Association of Australia WA president Steve Lennon and Deputy Premier Roger Cook presented the inaugural awards for the WA chapter.
The teachers received the award for promoting sustainable future through education.
