Free activities to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will include bush tucker tasting, tool and jewellery making, a spear-throwing demonstration and traditional artefact displays.

The Aboriginal cultural experience session fee of $11 will be waived for the day, with a 2pm session to immerse participants in Aboriginal culture, and a 3pm didgeridoo and dance session.

Park marketing co-ordinator Jennifer Green said it would be an opportunity for the community to mark NAIDOC Week.
