Caltex has started building a fuel station on the corner of Lukin and Connolly drives, with access off Headingly Crescent and adjacent to the future Butler fire station site.
Spokesman Sam Collyer said they expected the Star Mart to open in late July.
The Times understands another fuel station will be built in Alkimos.
