Brooke Trimmer, Virginia Dziegielewski and Dorothy Dean teamed up to created Empire Events and Marketing to meet increasing demand from stallholders and market goers.

As well as the benefits of face-to-face interactions between shoppers and sellers and the appeal of hand-crafted products, the trio identified a need for markets in the north coast corridor because of the lack of infrastructure and booming population.

Mrs Dean said Market Night at the Tavern@The Rocks on August 5 was the first of many markets designed to appeal to the wider community.

“We wanted to provide the community with a market that not only showcased local creatives and designers but promoted the locality in which many different stakeholders would benefit,” she said.

Mrs Dziegielewski said Tavern @The Rocks was a hidden gem.

“Its function room overlooks the Two Rocks Marina and will set the scene while local stallholders will provide patrons with a variety of items to purchase,” she said.

Mrs Trimmer said Empire Events had placed a lot of emphasis on advertising the event as something more than a market.

“It’s a night out to socialise, mingle or entertain the family in an awesome setting that supports local people,” she said.

Night Market will be at Tavern@The Rocks, Two Rocks on August 5, from 6-9pm. Interested stallholders can email empireevent@|yahoo.com or call Dorothy Dean on 0412 294 787.
