North Coastal Children’s Community Choir starts with 30 singers

Lucy JarvisNorth Coast Times

THE North Coastal Children’s Community Choir started this month with about 30 singers at the first session.

President Janet Blenkinsop said interest had been “overwhelming” after the choir launched on May 18.

“We might have to split the choir by age group,” she said.

The choir will meet at Butler Community Centre on Wednesdays from 3.45 to 5.15pm, although the June 1 rehearsal has been cancelled to allow for building maintenance.
