POLICE have charged a 36-year-old man as a result of their investigation into several incidents including a house fire around the Lancelin area yesterday afternoon.

About 1.10pm it was alleged the man slashed the tyres of a vehicle parked on Indian Ocean Drive near Caraban Road in Caraban.

It is then believed the man went to the home of a person known to him on Ocean Farm Drive in Nilgen where he set fire to a room, which was destroyed before being extinguished.
