Northern suburbs man faces dozens of burglary and damage charges

AN Eglinton man (32) will face court tomorrow in relation to an alleged armed robbery in Quinns Rocks and a string of commercial burglaries in Joondalup.

WA Police spokesman Sam Dinnison said detectives today charged the man with armed robbery, 12 counts each of burglary and stealing and 13 counts of criminal damage.

"Regional Investigations Unit detectives have charged a man in relation to an armed robbery incident in Quinns Rocks on Saturday, May 9, and a series of commercial burglaries in Joondalup between March and May," he said.

"The premises targeted included two pharmacies and an equipment hire business, all of which were targeted more than once."

The man is due in Joondalup Magistrates Court on May 21.
