STUART Chisholm said staff are looking forward to the arrival of their first cohort of students when school opens tomorrow.
The Northshore Christian Grammar School principal said he was looking forward to welcoming students to the learning spaces at the Alkimos school now that construction had finished.

“We’re very pleased with the way the concepts for the school have come to life,” he said.
“Every facet of the design complements learning. It’s the result of educators, researchers, architects and builders working collaboratively.
“The vibrant colour schemes of the buildings create a distinct sense of identity for the early learning centre and primary school building.
“The flexible learning spaces will complement the learning design that our teachers are trained in.”
Stage one of the school includes two play areas, a grassed play space for primary school students, a large-scale outdoor chess set and a hard court for basketball and netball.
The school is running a foundation scholarship program until mid-2017, valued at up to $2000 per family.
Northshore is part of the Swan Christian Education Association group and is located east of Marmion Avenue in Peet Ltd’s Shorehaven estate.
The school is open for Years K-6 this year and will grow each year through to Year 12, starting with Year 7 in 2018.
