Mr Flood, who is also campaigning for an ocean pool at Quinns Beach, said debris in sand posed a safety risk to beachgoers.
Last month, he asked Wanneroo City Council to rake the beach off Quinns Road and Ocean Drive, and provide extra bins on the beach instead of the footpath.
‘There are objects projecting out of the sand and (it) is a safety concern for users,’ Mr Flood said.
The City’s infrastructure director Dennis Blair said the City had had issues over the years trying to get an appropriate beach cleaner as they tended to get bogged.
‘Additional bins were placed down near the Quinns car park,’ Mr Blair said.
‘Bins are strategically placed at beach access points adjoining the coastal pathway and parking facility to facilitate collection by waste services.
‘Beach users are responsible for collecting their rubbish and disposing of it appropriately.’
The clean-up will run from 9.30 to 11am on Saturday, March 1, and Sunday, March 2.
