The Gravity Discovery Centre will host a Sydney Observatory and Powerhouse Museum travelling exhibition of Winning Sky Photographs: the David Malin Awards 2013 for six weeks.

The exhibition showcases the top entries for the astrophotography exhibition run by the Central West Astronomical Society in New South Wales. It will include Grahame Kelaher’s image of the Milky Way taken at the Pinnacles rock formation and Michael Bolenski’s star trails image captured at Big Swamp on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia.

The overall winner was Martin Pugh for his photo of the spiral galaxy NGC 3718, which lies 52 million light years’ away.
