The couple, along with Peter Hodge and Becki Yu, will take part Camp Quality’s wesCarpade fundraising trip in a Wizard of Oz-themed car tomorrow.
Mrs Sangalli said the week-long Outback journey was on her bucket list, and would be their first adventure without their three children in 12 years.
‘All of them have been blessed and very healthy (but) they all have had friends that have had to go through the cancer battle,’ she said.
Mrs Sangalli said they had already exceeded their fundraising target of $5000, with many local residents and businesses donating about $6500 by Tuesday.

As part of the third annual wesCarpade, about 25 cars will travel off road from Kalbarri to Dampier between August 3 and 9.
