FUTURE Jindalee resident Toby Lindsay and his family won a $2000 stand-up paddleboard last month.

They won a competition held at Satterley’s Eden Beach beach and carpark opening event in October, which more than 350 people attended.

Mr Lindsay said they expected to use the stand-up paddleboard often with summer approaching.

“I have always been a person who loves the water; I love to fish and surf, especially with my family,” he said.

“I have tried stand-up paddle boarding a few times in both the Swan and Canning rivers and I can’t wait to try it out at the beach and hopefully be able to catch a few waves in time.”

The Lindsay family recently bought a house and land package at Eden Beach and are almost at the handover stage.
