Pair wanted over car speaker fraud

Staff ReporterNorth Coast Times

Senior Constable Travis Walsh said the man and woman approached staff in an auto shop on Neerabup Road about 3.30pm on Sunday, May 12, with an empty box they pretended held a faulty set of speakers.

‘After producing a receipt, the female went and retrieved a new speaker box from the shelf and once the exchange was processed by staff, the two left with new car speakers, leaving the empty box behind,’ Constable Walsh said.

The man was described as having a ruddy complexion, blond to light brown hair and a large build, and being in his mid-40s.
