THE WA Police and Community Youth Centres (PCYC) kicked off its outreach sessions in Butler this term.

PCYC youth workers and the City of Wanneroo are delivering the sessions, where young people can take part in recreational activities.

“The program is also supported by WA Police, who aim to increase the relationship between law enforcement bodies and local youth,” program coordinator Chrissy Howard said.

“Refreshments and sausage sizzles will be provided throughout the school term.

“The delivery of outreach activities is part of the WA PCYC North West Metropolitan Region program, which aims to provide and increase the number of accessible youth engagement programs in the northern suburbs.”

Term 1 sessions will be held on Wednesdays from 3pm to 5pm at Kingsbridge Reserve.
